Life can never be taken easy

Life can never be taken easy, thought Shradha.. Though God plans things for us, it does not suppress our anxiety at times...Crisis management is the need of the hour and she wondered if she lacked that skill….
Sharadha is an IT professional, with busy deadlines and weekends to prepare things at home to run for the coming week..Anand is also in the same industry and they have a kid by name Sriram..Shradha has to take him to crèche everyday and while coming back from office, needs to pick him up and go home, cook dinner, clean vessels and sleep..She was living with her in-laws but after 2 years of wedding, she realized that she had lost her privacy with her husband..
Anand is good natured basically and understands her. He doesn’t mind if his sister and elder brother came home every weekend to see parents but Shradha had all the pressure building inside her.. She would always feel there was no time for them both, but whenever Shradha has difficulty with privacy, there was always a fight between them..Shradha could take it no longer and bursted out one day..that she would move out of the area and would stay near her office..Not only saying, she implemented that in action, one fine day much to the dismay of others. She invited her parents-in law to come and stay with them but they refused..Anand wasn’t accepting at first but had no choice..
After moving here, life has a different meaning and joy multiplied when Sriram came..They had peace of mind and time to spend for eachother..Weekends were enjoyable when they could spend a couple of hours at the beach, dinner in a restaurant, leaning on Anand’s shoulders and Anand too started understanding the reality..Needless to say, weekends became busier now and Shradha had to include visiting In-laws in her ‘To do’ lists for the weekends..
Life runs smoothly now, with both of them busy at work and sriram at the crèche..But since this is life, it is a package of unknown twists..Now, Anand has got the assignment in America and Shradha is confused whether to leave her job and go..The Assignment is for 1 year minimum and hence Shradha’s mom had suggested her to resign and be with her hubby and kid..Shradha is intelligent too but she is scared about the financial independence that she has to lose when future demands both of them to work to live decently..She also has the dream to buy a flat but this assignment has made her sleepless..
In a month’s time, she should either resign and leave or stay at her mom’s place with Sriram..She went to her favorite temple and prayed God to help her from this situation. After lot of discussions at home and with friends, she has now decided to resign and go with Anand..Now, Shradha is busy packing all the things needed for the trip with a query of what the future has in store for her. She thinks that a girl has to forgo her wishes for the family at one point or the other..
When discussed with her mom, her mom says that the story is same for all women born. They are supposed to support the family even if that means leaving their jobs. All the women have undergone the same, some boldly hold on to the job and others resign to take care of the kids since we cannot afford to depend on people to take care of our children. At the cost of our financial independence, we hate lives for pushing us to this state. But since God always plans for all of us, he knows what is better and so we should just accept it and move on to the next stage in life. Shradha is now in New York, as a home maker and a full time mom..
Whenever she feels dull, she remembers these words of her mom to accept life as it comes..

  1. This story exactly portrays what's happening in 80% of women's life in this era of life. Very touching but very realistic!! Good one
