The Strategy

For a change, let us think differently. We will not use our vehicles for a day, wherever that may be - to school, work place, market, movies or wherever.

Let us try to incorporate this at least once in a week! Believe me, this would become the secret to increase our savings! Get a bicycle and start riding it or take a walk or go by train or use the local bus. Of course, it would be a strain in the beginning but if we can plan and leave a little early, then we can manage it. Anyways, we get stuck up in the traffic jams every day and do not care to stop the engine even while waiting at the signals. We have been thinking what big can we save by this action! But now, every drop counts!

It’s not enough if you have bought a SUV, you should give it premium petrol too! But the rate at which it has gone up, you can very well sell it off! A friend of mine had actually sold his old petrol car and now has bought a diesel version! Look at his luck! Diesel price has gone up by Rs.5/-

Belgium has banned the usage of cars! In China, they have brought in a lot system to let people buy cars. Whosever name is picked up from the lucky draw, they would be allowed to buy a car.

Imagine how life would be without these vehicles. We will pollute less, go freely on the roads, don’t care to stop at the petrol stations and no major accidents due to speed, mobiles and carelessness!

The people who increase the price say that it has become unavoidable! We too will follow the same, that it has become avoidable. So, let us avoid the usage of petrol and diesel. We can’t keep spending more and more for fuel. Now again, after 2 months, there would be another increase and yet another by the start of the next year! We will be forced to accept these fuel hikes even after all the protests!

Vegetables, fruits, gas cylinders, auto fares, bus fares will increase now! These will in turn trigger the increase in restaurant bills, groceries, school van fees, etc…We can manage with induction stoves and oven but where is the power?
What will happen if only the Government and public vehicles are allowed to use these fuels? We don’t need fuel efficient cars anymore; all that we need is “no fuel needed” cars.
Probably, this is a strategy to help us reduce our weight, our costs, etc... We cannot cook with oil; one the oil price has gone up and two, the cylinder itself is very expensive! So, for a family of 4, you can use only 2 spoons of oil, 1 small cup of rice, dal and 4 vegetables (don’t mistake it for the variety! I mean the count per head). Sell the car, bike and pre-close the loans! The less the power is used, the less our electricity bills would be! That’s why; they cut the power to enable us to save!

This way, we can only have water (not sure if can water will increase too). For kids, we can give milk. Store up cartons of tea powder now and we can have black tea or lemon tea from time to time. I can hear you asking, what about hot water! Well, heat it once and store in thermos flasks!

Soon, we don’t need any slimming centers or yoga Gurus as India will soon become a country with all people becoming slim and very active. There would be no heart ailments, no cholesterol issues, no arthritis plus we all will have size ZERO!
