What's happened to us!
If we are bored, we check whatsapp
If we are too bored, we check Facebook
If we are still bored, we check emails
And yet bored, we fall asleep!
Any msg comes up in whatsapp
And again after a couple of days in Facebook
Or vice versa
And we keep sharing them both!
What has happened to us?
What did we do before whatsapp
What were we doing pre-facebook days?
Everyone around us look at their mobile screens more than they look at the mirror or at the person next
And end up in neck pain!
A day will soon come, when the conversation will be something like
Mom: food is ready
Son: OK will come in 5 minutes
Son: dad, u have to pay my fees
Dad: online payment done
Son: wow! Great..thanks
They come to the table to eat, both realising the other is at home, yet a whatsapp chat going on..
Next time, mom will cook something, take a picture and send in whatsapp! Is it enough if we look at that picture? Is it as good as eating it?
Do we all need a day, like 2015 floods without power, water to realize human worth? The value of people around us..
Agreed that social media shares everything the next moment, but positives are lesser! Why would people want to know where I'm, with whom I'm, what I'm doing?! Though its my own friends circle, I should refrain from posting anything personal!
We should have more family time, more library time, more cooking time, more cleaning time or more quiet time!
