For the Greater good:

Everyone is striving hard

Begging us to stay indoors

Risking their lives

All for Greater good!

The country's head appears

On the media, talking to us,

Suggesting nurses and doctor

To motivate the patients

All for,  our greater good!

We don't lose anything by

Staying home

Not going out to run errands

Stay inside for our loved ones,

All for Greater good!

Everyone does their bit!

Media engages the citizens

With programs we all enjoyed as kids

Others telecast so many movies and games

To ensure nobody leaves their homes!

When you see so many people still outside

You wonder, what are you doing?!

We have to just stay inside our homes!

How tough can be that?!!

There are so many brothers and sisters

Who would prefer to stay home

But are out there, fighting for us

For the greater good of our nation!

We learn to be determined,

To be resilient, to be patient

To manage with what we have

All for Greater good!

When the world's looking at you

Thinking how can you manage

With such huge population

Is it not the time to show them all

To prove them wrong,

We all can! And we will!

For the greater good of India comes first

Rather than our individual goals

Being united to combat the pandemic

By social distancing and lock down

We will once again show

Hamara Bharat Mahan!
