Chat Tamasha

The whole point of chatting is to stay in touch with loved ones, family, friends and colleagues. This way, we don’t lose touch with them and chatting is cost and time effective too. But so much comedy happens in the chat windows and am sure many of us would have experienced these.
There are some people who would always set their status to ‘Busy’. To show off to the world that they are so busy! Why are they online, in the first place? If they are so busy, why do they login to chat and on top of that why do they set the status as busy?!
There are some others, who will stay online and set status as available, but would never bother to reply when someone pings them! After a couple of days, as if seeing the chat messages only then, they would send out a mail or a chat message, ‘hey am sorry! I missed your messages’!
There are some others who would promise that they never got your chat messages since they have logged in from their mobiles! The big point is that these people who logged in from their mobile would have the status set to ‘BUSY’! As if, everyone in the world is waiting to chat only with them and if they see them online, would catch them!
Some others would respond only with hmm, k (meaning okay!), lol, rofl, smiley, etc. during the entire conversation. Come on, there are so many words in English language and can be used free of cost!
The other side of the coin - It’s really hurting if someone whom we ping does not bother to ping back! They behave as if nothing has happened! All of us are busy these days and it’s really appreciable if someone takes their time to ping asking about our life, job, etc. since they respect the relationship. If people are not interested to chat, then either they need NOT login to the chat window or can set the status as “Invisible”. That way, people can’t see them as available and wouldn’t really disturb!
