A scene in the hospital!

I was waiting to meet my doc. In general, nobody in the hospital worries about your time. If you have an appointment at 10,you reach early just to be on the safer side. Now, what these people think is we have all the time in the world! Please  wait madam is the default sentence spoken. It was like, forever for me to goto the scan room and get it done. They call us very slowly and when my name was called, I felt a sense of triumph! In I went and there, she took another 15 minutes to scan!$£€*^+><~$ please wait madam for the report! I waited out for another 15 minutes, got the report, paid the bill and double checked if the doc was available! They assured me and I paid the consultation fees. Now comes the best part! By the time, I got the scan done and paid money, the doctor had gone in to the operation theatre!! The sister didn't know when he went inside but told us it would take another 30 minutes minimum! It actually took 60 minutes for him to come out. Tons of thanks to him, he called us one by one outside the theatre itself! The consultation itself was for 10 minutes but the time taken to see him was a total three hours! Every hospital, the scene is the same! Why? The patients coming do not have any other job to do on that day? Or the people accompanying them are free too?Why nobody gives the exact timing and finish off all cases faster?I get so irritated if they don't maintain the order, I.e, someone else was called before me for the scan!  It's NOT ok, unless it's an emergency, why should such things happen?People waiting, eat their breakfast there, in the cafeteria and if you're lucky you can reach home for lunch! We pay huge amount and still accept the way we are treated!
End of the day, you get so tired waiting there all day long, doing nothing! The first thing you want to do back home is to hit the bed! I could never concentrate even if I had a book with me at the hospital! You would doze off in that silent atmosphere only to realize that you are yet to meet the doctor!

  3. same experience
People who are going to hospitals should learn yoga or dhyanam to have more patience being a patient and this is applicable to be the person who accompany the patient.

It's not true that patients in the waiting area is the success of the doctor or hospital. How they treat and send them in time is important. Doctor room may be the comfortable place for the treatment but people who wait to see doctor should not kept in stress for so long time .
    It's not a temple to stay long, it's a hospital. !!!
