Hey! Hello! Happy New Year!
As I sit down to welcome the new year which will be born in few hours from now, my mind goes back to the beginning of this year. I don't remember anything we did on that significant day, same day 365 days back!
Is it I'm growing old not to remember or we didn't really do anything great? I can't say!
Everyone sets resolutions but I haven't done that till now knowing well that I would give it up half way!
Weight loss:
Whatever resolutions we have, like, every year weight loss would top the list! When will I realise its a number alone and what I need to think about is my fitness and not the shape!
Cleaning:
The next one is to keep the house clean! How many times I do the cleaning, again it goes back to the previous state! Again should I not realise maintenance is little when compared to the moments we have had?! After few years, when everybody gets busy, nobody will be around to mess around the house!
The declutter!
This would be a real challenge as we really need to find what's being used and what's not and discard them. This would not only create more space but also my time and efforts will be saved! Unused toys, clothes, kitchen items, water bottles, etc..the same applies to my mind! Clearing the web of unwanted thoughts.
This year I should shout less at kids, listen more, help more, have a career, read and write more, pray more, sing more, stop being guilty as a mom, stay in silence more, use mobile less and keep CALM! Its also a task to keep the mobile in silent mode for an hour everyday!
It's not the new year's beginning alone, that should be exciting but each day should remind us how lucky we are to have got another chance and remind ourselves that we alone decide our happiness and so our days and hence our lives!
Its not exotic vacations alone that charge us up but our little time with the family well spent will give us those precious memories which we can cherish all the time!
May this year be more meaningful than the previous one!
