Yadh bhaavam, Tadh bhavathi!

Well, Fear is the first feeling we have towards anything new in life! Any situation, we have some kind of prejudice in mind before actually facing it. Actually, our imagination is what causes such fear. In reality, these things might not happen and we laugh at ourselves once the entire episode is over!
How many times, we have thought in our mind that something should not happen and it happens! Our mind sends out signals through the thoughts and the universe responds to these thoughts. The funny part is if we think something should NOT happen, the universe takes it, as if we want that to happen and hence responds accordingly! How many times you tell your kid not to spill the milk on the floor and he spills it.
That is why, our elders have told us “Yadh bhaavam, thath bhavathi” which means, what you think, so will it become! Hence, they always emphasize that we should think only positive thoughts and we cannot afford even a single negative thought in to our mind!
How to accomplish what we want? The key to this is to think only the results we want to happen. As these thoughts become habit, we will actually accomplish what our thoughts have made a picture of. In other words, this is called the visualization technique.
Whatever we read, write, watch on the television, everything will have an influence on us like small threads. These put together makes a big cloth in the mind. That’s why its very important to watch good movies, read good books which nurture our minds. If possible, we can meditate everyday for about 5 minutes. Slowly, we will be surprised to see us getting involved in to it for a minimum of 15 minutes!
So, whatever God has planned for us, whatever the future has in store for us, let us take it bravely with open arms and face every situation with courage and God above us.
