Moms cannot give up! Moms don't have that choice!
If the child is sick, the mom has to be next to him/her. It's her who is relied upon. Dads may stay or not,its optional!Until the child is well, the mom undergoes so much mentally and physically. She cannot eat or sleep properly!
If the child has some issues in school, the mom has to take care as the common reply is "Its your area, so you do it" or "Kids don't listen to me as they listen to you"(Easy escape!)
The mom should only start about going out to a movie or some outing or vacation because the famous complaint is " You'll not accept what I say, so you decide " I agree we moms don't agree easily because we know what all we should face after we come back!!
Be it a vacation, we must ensure kids r given healthy food and water!Outing in car's front seat will bring in cold n cough!! Be it to a mall, you should smartly prohibit kids from taking junk food or juices there! If we tempt them by having, then we should also be ready to take care of them for the next one week of fever and cold/cough!
Kids will push us to our core! With biting teeth and grit, we should accept all that and keep quiet! we can't shout as your own parents would comment they are just kids, they'll learn and so don't shout! Even though a volcano would be erupting inside us, we should be calm!
I don't know how that's possible! My kids have irritated me many times and it's a daily routine in my house for them to play with my patience and make me angry.
How does anyone react if kids do the very same thing that you restrict them from not doing? An example is my daughter turns off the lamp lit at God's altar in spite of me telling her calmly, affectionately, convincingly, scolding, I even gave her one! Still she does it!! Jumping up and down on the sofa and the bed, throwing all the toys but not playing with any, opening water tap are the daily examples.
Moms are human too and they have their loads of work to do! We can't be around kids all the time! Struggling with them till 12.30 at night and waking up by 6.30-7 is jus becoming so tough!
Some people ask what do you do when they sleep?! I would feel like replying, oh yes!I sleep along!I do all my work in that time, I wash the clothes in the machine and by the time that ends I finish vessels and clean up the house, fold yesterdays clothes and then when I sit with my mobile or iPad, it's time for them to get up and start their next activity! grrrr...
Now, after doing all this, moms have a void when the kids run to the next door neighbor and happy to spend their time there rather than being home! Moms have that lump in the throat when kids start full day school. Sitting up with kids to finish homework and making them study is another episode by itself!
Even then, moms can't give up! Even after growing up, moms can't give up on kids and should bring the kids back on track before they derail.
