Just study

Just study

As I was waiting with my son for his van pick up, tired and sweating, the van came and he boarded. As the door opened, I saw a senior student studying with a big fat book. After wishing my son for his exam, my mind wandered and I pulled it back, as I entered home to send my daughter off to school.

This boy has no other worry in his head, to buy groceries, vegetables, to pay kids fees, to pack their lunch,to keep their school uniform neat and clean, to have a spic and span home to class pickup and drops and many more! All he has to do is to sit and study while everything just goes on smoothly around him! I'm jealous!

Now, if someone says all you have to do is to sit and study and I'll take care of the rest, I would give a bear hug to that person and happily settle down with the book!

But the reality is I can't even read a novel without a break or the same goes with a movie!

How I wanted to do anything other than studying in my school days! I used to come out for frequent breaks when in college and then used to study in the nights. That pressure kept me awake and by Gods grace, though I passed out in flying colors, I decided not to study anymore after my masters.

When I dared to do a certification after kids, it was such a pressure! I felt exhausted but the joy of clearing it did motivate me but not so much. So I paused.

Learn all you can when you've the support, when you're the nucleus in the family and everything you do is celebrated.

As we grow, our focus shifts with umpteen distractions and life pulls you down with pressure.

March like Arjuna with Krishna at your side and overcome all the challenges with the undeterred aim!

This is the age to learn. As we age, we'll learn to unlearn!
