The Pivot

In the ocean of emotions,
the waves of anger, sadness and happiness keep rising and falling down
Just like the centre of the ocean is calm and tranquil,
so is the mind in its nucleus!

There are no tides,
no spirals, not even ripples,
everything is so quiet and serene
like the quiet before sunrise!

There you see,
The mind coiled around HIM
HE directs the oars of our lives' boats
HE, being our life boat,
Our vest and the breathing tube and also the rescue ship and the light house!

When the fury or hurt inside rises up like a tsunami,
Remember to remember HIM, for he will take us through this and beyond!
Jus one wink or a move,
We'll be safe on the tide like an experienced surfer!

He's our abode, He's the destination
The pit stop and the starting point
He's the circle, the beginning and the end
He is the point and the compass!

His words are our strength
His presence is our support
Our experience of HIM is our success
In this otherwise mundane existence!

He will make us realise this,
In every moment
May be directly or through someone
When we fail to see that,
Who's to be blamed?
